page constantly reloading at ny daily news

it mostly happens when i try to read the ny daily news. at the main page i have found a way to disallow automatic reload but when i click on an article i will have to click the back button 10 to 20 times to get back to the main page. occasionally, i run into the same problem on other sites but it happens mostly on http://www.nydailynews.com/ it's becoming very frustrating - does anybody know how to stop this?
