The line they used so far is for Security purpose we disallow anything of Legacy AddOns but yet offer no solutions to fix AddOns they break or disable other then update your AddOns of which is pure BS.

Heard that. Still, Colour Management is no small thing, it's hard to believe there isn't something built-in. Mozilla must care about accurate colour profiles, surely ?

FWIW. Previous changes made seem to be still intact. [ gfx.color_management.display_profile ] I'm guessing a manual edit will still work in future (?) No wish to test it now for obvious reasons. Shame about Sean's manager, but.

Firefox's color management settings have been the same for a long time. Possibly some small bugs were fixed along the way.

When I look at the extension's page, it says "Provides a GUI front end for enabling color management in Firefox and any other XUL 1.9.1 based app. Please note, this is only a Graphical User Interface used to access the built in color management settings in about:config." https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/color-management/

So hopefully you can modify those by hand when needed.

Pretty much what I surmised in my preceding post. Thanks for the interest all, I'll think I'll call this one unresolved, but in no further need of assistance. A simple little GUI tool, should not have shaken the pillars of the empire. Thanks again.

p.s. @Mozilla Asking for a simplistic YES or NO regarding the helpfulness of a post is not conducive to an easy, laid back exchange. Total honesty is likely to get peoples' noses out of joint. People's interest is welcome, but if their message was not helpful, it was not helpful. Perhaps a few more friendly options ?
