TB tries to open a deleted email account on gmail

When starting TB, a pop-up window appears asking for the password to login to a deleted gmail account. I have checked gmail and the account does not exist. I have removed all references in TB to the account. When I open TB the Google "Sign in with your Google Account" window pops up. The pop -up only appears when I open TB.
