Hello and thank you. I have many open tabs in Firefox and would like to search among them instead of scrolling. If the instructions include press a certain button, please include a picture of the button or icon. Thank you for your help.

Hi, firefox: 153.0 Yesterday evening I put 3 tabs in a "group tab" I decided to call "ARS".

This morning I don't see how I can re-open this group tab. Many topics speak about a button "list all tabs". That button doesn't appear in my firefox (even when I have 50 tabs open). I tried the "customize" menu of firefox and "got back to factory setting", but it is still not there.

When I go to the contextual menu of a tab, I see that I can add it to a new container or the "closed group tab - ARS". When I do so for a tab, it closes. (I'm not sure it's normal.)

At this point, I really just want to remove the tab group (because I already re-opened the tabs... it took 5s, fixing the problem is now entering the 20'...) but I don't see how I can do it. It appears nowhere. I even "deactivated the group tab" feature and then reactivated it... the "ARS" group tab still appears in the "closed group tabs" submenu.

Hi all, I recently updated to the most recent version of Firefox on Android but am not seeing any options related to or about using tab groups? My friend who is on the same version, OS, and different model of the same device has the option to create them and a tab for them neither of which I have. His about page matches mine

I use Firefox in Windows 11, but when I close it and reopen it, my three open tabs are gone, it is supposed to open them, as checked in settings. I see the same thing happening in the MacOs, but no answers for Windows either.

Hey I was wondering if there's a way to activate split view on android? I found one extension but it says its not monitored by firefox and it wants some permissions that I'm iffy about given the warning. I'm hoping there's a native way like on desktop and I just cant figure it out. Appreciate any assistance. Thanks

It seems I can no longer set a link to open in same tab. There is a Government webskite that won't let me open a link in a new tab and I can no longer find a way to stop a link being opened in a new tab

MacOS 26.6, Latest Firefox. 153.0.3. Tabs are not restoring, since update to latest FF. Tab History shows old stale tabs, not the tabs that were present at time of exiting Firefox. I had closed those tabs. Is this an artifact of caching?

The active tabs should be stored at FF shutdown, not the old closed tabs prior to that. This Firefox quirk is both on my Mac Mini M4, and on my MacBook Pro M3. Kind of a pain in the neck to restore where I was. It's enough to make me reconsider this browser - which I have used for decades, using Windows, Linux and now MacOS.

I researched how to restore a session. It told me to go to History and click Restore Session. There is no line with that name, in my Firefox, on a Mac.

Under History the docs show 4 items before "Clear recent history...", I only have 1. Recently closed tabs 2. Recently closed windows 3. Search history. There is no Restore session.

The tabs that were open last session are in the start up window, and the check box is set to restore tabs and windows. But my tabs were not restored. (I only had a single window open.)

What can be done to "restore" previous behavior of Restore Tabs and Windows? Thanks for any and all assistance.

On Firefox I have repeatedly pinned four tabs for websites that I use frequently. The pinned tabs disappear at unpredictable times, not necessarily when I re-open Firefox.

I want the multiple tabs back at the top. I haven't been able to follow any directions online because either I don't know what words/places are, or the place I'm supposed to click on doesn't exist. I'm using Chrome at the moment, but would like to go back to Firefox if there is an easy fix.

When i downloaded the app, it automatically came with the ability to group tabs, but after i customized several settings it took all of my tabs out of the groups and i can't group them anymore. The settings i changed ranged from privacy to personalization, i tried to reverse some of them to see if that would help and did a bunch of back and forth, but it's still not coming back. (Im trying to leave chrome because i noticed it had some very concerning lack of privacy settings that messed with my phone's ability to function properly if i turned them off. And Edge is worse.) Firefox seems better, but without the group tabs option it makes it waaaay too ridiculous to try and do any real work with it. I do a lot of multitasking and research and need to be able to bounce around and organize stuff. Your help stuff on tab groups doesnt say anything about how to turn it on or off. So... how do i get it back?

In previous versions of firefox for ipad, a blue notification was shown temporarily at the bottom of the screen when a tab was closed, allowing to tab This was really helpful, as it happens quite frequently, that I hit the close icon accidentally when switching tabs. Any chance this feature can be enabled again? Thanks

Today after i restarted my laptop (windows) and then I started firefox all the pinned and also the normal tabs were gone. I tried to follow different indications about restoring the previous session, but nothing showed up. All the tabs are gone.

As I need these tabs and this is obviously an issue of the software, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

Is not possible that this happens every 1-2 months.

I'm using Windowa 11. When I click on a link I want it to open in a fresh tab/page, but it opens on the current page instead. Firefox used to do this: how can I set it up again?

I got a big announcement pop-up on Firefox desktop that support for mobile tab groups was added in 153 - https://www.firefox.com/en-CA/firefox/android/153.0/releasenotes/. I'm currently on 153.0.2 (Build #2016175759), and have no tab group feature.

Looking at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups-firefox-android, none of these features are visible for me. Nothing in my tab area mentions groups, the section at the top (private/normal/other devices) doesn't have a "groups" section, and I can't drag tabs onto other tabs to create groups.

My only installed add-on is uBlock Origin. Is there any reason this feature isn't available for me?

I don't know if it's because I don't have the latest version of Firefox. But I cannot find tab grouping. I have checked to see if there is an update, but I can't find any update at all so just wondering what's going on. the version of Firefox I'm using is: 153.0 (Build #2016172927)

In Settings I have checked the box to open previous windows and tabs and yet it doesn't open any of them .

This started happening after a ran a Norton Cleanup session. are there some Mozilla files I need to delete to reinitialize them
