Good afternoon!

Since the last update, the Latin dictionary add-on by Leszek Życzkowski has disappeared. I tried to reinstall it and I am getting the message it could not be installed "because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 60.3.0."

The Latin dictionary add-on is a great tool and I use it regularly for private e-mails and as a quick spell-check for my articles in Latin. It should remain available to the public. It would be a pity to see it go.

Kind regards, Gregory

The old ResetRec add-in has been removed in Thunderbird 60. I frequently send to large lists and then need to send as new to another set of recipients. Manually removing each recipient is time consuming. The old add-in hasn't been updated since 2011 so it is unlikely to be updated. How can I remove all recipients. Thank you, Len

When Thunderbird opens I want it to open in the top mailbox, not the last one opened: there used to be a way to choose this but I can't find it now.

There are three mailboxes in my Thunderbird: call them A, B, and C. A is at the top, and when I open Thunderbird I want it to open there, even if I was reading mail in box B or C when I last closed Thunderbird. I know that in the past I could choose this option, but it seems to have disappeared. Many thanks.

Hi,

I want to apply a Message Filter to all Messages where the "Cc" Field is empty. That means I want to filter all messages where I am the only official recipient .

If I look at the filters there is no way to Filter "Cc is empty" If I just leave the text field blank there is no effect.

I learned about the "FiltaQuilla" Plugin:

I enabled "Header Regex match" screenshot-1099

Now if I go to "Tools -> MessageFilters -> I can match "Header Regex Match"

I want to match "If Cc is empty" screenshot-1100 As I recall the "Cc" field is part of the header -> Can anyone help me to get the correct regular expression.

In Thunderbird 60.0, when moving emails, a "thumbnail" of the email lines is showing, which will hide the highlighting of the destination folder.

In older version, I could easily move several emails from one folder to another and see the highlighting of the destination folder.

How can I change this back to the previous way?

When only moving one email, this is not a big issue (still a little one), but when moving several, it is, as I cannot know for sure at which folder I'm pointing. (Screenshot attached)

I've found that, if I drag in the left side of the lines, or at the top or bottom line, I can avoid hiding the destination folder, but this is not a very convenient way of organising my emails.

Hi,

This is definitely wrong as the source says (just 1 example): 'Received: from xxx by yyy with LMTPA; Mon, 05 Nov 2018 01:20:55 +0100' and 'Date: Fri, 2 Nov 2018 15:29:27 +0000'

IIRC that has not been the case some TB versions ago. Bug or my mistake? Thanks for tips. H.

When I select "Edit as New Message" in Thunderbird (v52.9.1) on a Mac, the message editor comes up in html mode even if I have set everything to plain text.

I have read all the articles on this and done all the things people have recommended including messing with Advanced options, account settings, etc. However, none of these solutions work.

Attached is a screenshot showing the problem. The first screenshot shows my inbox. The second shot shows that "Edit as new message" comes up in html mode.

Please advise.

Assembled Wisdom!

With the Thunderbird editor, I can increase or diminish the size of the text, color it, . . . but I can't put in diacritical marks e.g. accent grave or acute, cedillas, etc. Am I overlooking some capability? or, if this ability isn't present, is someone working on a new version which will allow diacritical marks?

TIA for anticipated help!
