Trying to get the mobil version to work. Can the mobil version coexist with the PC version? I tried leaving messages on server, but no joy. Got through the setup OK, but the mobile version want a signon to Google

Seit dem Update über Playstore wurden alle Mails vom Posteingang (Gemeinsamer Psitereingang mit mehreren Konten) in den Papierkorb verschoben und die Einstrellungen für Mails Abfragen wurden ebenfalls verändert ! Wann ist mit einer Bereinigung zu rechnen? Ein manuelles Verschieben vom Papierkorb in den Pisteingang ist ebenfalls nicht möglich. Dieser Fehler ist sehr ärgerlich ! :-( MfG

When I open my Inbox on Thunderbird for Android, the notifications are still displayed even after I close out of the app. So I have to always go back and manually swipe away all the notifications.

I select multiple messages to delete, and it doesn't delete all of them. I have to go back and select again to delete the remaining messages. Sometimes more than once.

How can I synch my address book on my laptop with a Moto G 2025 phone? I need the required steps to do this plainly spelled out, as I am not a super computer user. Thanks!!

I am a senior who has no desire to be in clouds, social media, etc. I have been using Thunderbird email on my laptop for about a year and a half now. Thank you for allowing me to keep my pop3 account, I have been very happy. I just want to have email on my phone because I like to get notice of email but I like to delete it and collect it on my laptop because it remains on the server. I periodically access the laptop and do all banking, etc. from there. Completely old school with local storage. Everything I have looked up said that I could still keep my pop3 account on my phone. I have a new Samsung A57 that I am trying to set up. The old phone had Outlook but it is locked out so I have to start from scratch. I thought I would rather do that with you than the others that seem to be taking all of our personal data over and leaving us no choice in how we would like to work. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

ich habe  seit  5  tagen  kein e.mail.   e.mail schon aber kann keine mails  verschicken.  ich musste  am 1.mai   bei magenta  mein paswort  neu eingeben  .  das funktioniert  jetzt  aber mails kann ich nicht  versenden :(

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Thunderbird on Android for emails, and I’ve noticed that notifications sometimes get delayed when I’m gaming on my phone. During longer gaming sessions, emails don’t show up right away and only appear after I exit the game or switch apps.

I’m guessing it might be related to background app restrictions or battery optimization, but I’m not completely sure. I’ve also noticed something similar while playing heavier or modded versions of Stick War: Legacy (https://stickwarmods.com/), where the game tends to keep the phone more “locked into performance mode,” and background apps (like email clients) seem to get deprioritized. In those cases, notifications also feel delayed until I minimize or close the game, which makes me think it’s more about Android’s background process management during sustained gaming sessions rather than the email app itself.

Has anyone else experienced delayed notifications with Thunderbird Android while gaming? Any tips on keeping notifications timely without affecting game performance would be really helpful.

I installed Thunderbird for Android beta at my smartphone. After importing my account from the desktop version of Thunderbird I don't see the subfolders of my inbox. How can I show subfolders in the app for Android?

I'm using Thunderbird on my Chromebook. I can't use the pointer to open the "more options" menu (the three dots) in the email to get to forward and other options. Hovering over the dots shows the "More Options" message, but clicking does not open the menu. I have a touch screen chromebook and discovered that I can touch the three buttons and it opens. Once the menu is opened, the mouse pointer works to select forward and the other options.

I set the Visible Message Actions to Delete and Move.

But I get Delete and Mark as Unread.

Move is far more important to me than Mark as Unread - why can't I see/control this?

In Android Thunderbird version 18.0, embedded photos from my webcam are no longer immediately visible within the HTML email view and integrated into the message. Instead, they are now displayed as attachments. In all other clients, as well as in Thunderbird for Desktop, everything still works as expected. It also worked correctly in previous versions. With version 18.0, without any changes to the settings, this behavior has changed.

This is incredibly annoying and makes it practically unusable. Is there a solution, and is this recognized as a bug or intended as a security feature? If it is the latter, I kindly request that it be made configurable in the settings.

I am using Thunderbird on Linux, there is an option to delete mail on trash on exit, and that worked. I don't see such option on the Android version, and the notification did not clear even I deleted all the mail.
