Forum communautaire Thunderbird pour Android

Hello! It seems like Thunderbird must have updated on my phone and somehow my Sent folder is now not only empty but no longer syncs with email account. It worked perfectly fine until just the other day and now I can't tell what needs to be changed in my settings since I don't know what caused the problem! :( I've tried resyncing, cache clearing and force stopping but I can't think of what else I should do. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Is there a plan to replicate the desktop spam filter in android? My ISP does not filter spam, but the desktop Thunderbird takes care of 95% of them. In Android, they just appear in my inbox and I have to manually delete them. Most days I get around 30 spam emails, ss it's a pain. I'd very much like to have the same experience with spam in android as I have in desktop.

One of the recent updates mentioned something about changing the colors for read vs unread emails. Now the contrast between the two states is barely perceptible, whereas before it was fairly clear (at least when using the dark theme; I have checked both themes on the current version and they both suffer). Is there a better forum to provide this feedback?

Good day everyone. Have been an ignorant gmail user for years. Now, I am testing new grounds, and decided to move to more privacy focused email client. Only been using thunderbird for few weeks, but now it seems that my inbox is getting more confusing/confused that you would normally expect. Have not looked in too deep, but it seems that 10 year old emails appear as new in inbox. Say newest email is received on Sunday, and it says Sunday, but I was not expecting any email on Sunday, from that particular sender. So I looked ant the date and time, expecting it to be a spam, but this particular emais seems legit, however, the received date is Monday, 8 June, 2015. And that's not the first eMail from the past. I have got few more down in the inbox, like last week's, but they actually are from 2015. How is it even possible? I also have few new emails, so it's a real mishmash of new and old in the past few days. The only thing I can think of, is that I have changed the sync messages from (if I remember correctly) 6 months to anytime recently. Any ideas or hints?

I wanted to add a Microsoft Outlook email to my Thunderbird mobile app. I managed to do it on my computer, but on my phone, I get an error, and all attempts to fix it fail. I've attached a photo of the error below.

I cannot send email from my Charter Spectrum account from my Thunderbird app on my Samsung Galaxy S24. I CAN send when logged into my Spectrum account on a computer.

My outgoing settings, as per Spectrum, on my phone are:

  Outgoing server: mobile.charter.net
  Port: 587
  Encryption: SSL/TLS
  Requires authentication: Yes

Error message: Server error, AUP#Oct-1130

Spectrum support said the error is NOT on their end. Please help.

Please add an auto fill function and address book to future thunderbird android email iterations. Collect incoming, non scam names and addresses as email comes in. Use these to auto complete outgoing emails, as the desktop version does...at least my desktop version does. This would be so helpful to me. I use my phone to do emails while I am travelling. Having auto search-fill would be very helpful in this situation where fumbling thru past emails to find an email address is very frustrating. Cheers for your product. Can we PLEASE have the ability to use/customize account icon photos on Thunderbird Android, instead of just the letters/text of the account name??? Being able to use/have photos there helps more with which account we're looking at! For example, with me, all my accounts start with "LI" 😅🫠🙃 so having the photo icons IN ADDITION to the color options would be GREAT!!!!! 😁🙏🙏 Attaching photo of what I'm talking about. Hi. I'm on the latest Thunderbird Beta for Android. I have recently received some emails from a university (probably sent from Outlook), containing a couple of attachments (signatures), and the moment I click to open any of them, Thunderbird just restarts. The messages can be opened easily from the Gmail app or from the GMX mail app. Any idea?

LE: just updated the app and the problem is gone, I suppose I'm not the only one who noticed it. Thank you

Hi I have had a Samsung-Xcover and now a Samsung S1. In the first one I had Thunderbird with two accounts that worked good and also importet mails from the mailboxes in my computer (not Firefox). Now I'm trying to get the two acounts visible on my new phone but only one appears. When adding a new account the app is circeling without stopping. That one that are ok is: info@orsamoraskating.com That one I want to add is: bjorn@hantverkstan.se

Is there a possibility to do the settings manually? I got all the settings.

I am attempting to set up TB10.1 on Android 15. The above response is followed by: Network error - Connection reset. I have been using TB on Win11 and applied the same settings. mailx.freeparking.co.nz Port 465 SSL/TLS Encrypted Pw "my sign in name". The incoming server settings seem to be OK. Thanks mgs

I have two emails addresses both on same domain. I sent an email from one on my laptop but it shows in the sent folder from the other one on android with the correct sent address..🙈 Why?..how?..

I try to import from my desktop version but the camera does not show anything but a blank screen (yes I authorized the camera use). I have even attempted to use the File Select to import but it fails with an error stating it cannot be found. Also, I cannot use POP3 mail for Gmail as it gives an authentication error every time. It only allows IMAP use but I do not like IMAP.
