Latest desktop firefox, windows 10 x64. No vpn icon on top right corner. No vpn in Firefox Settings > Privacy and security. Howto solve this?

Hello. After checking my antivirus ESET NOD32 Internet Security, the built-in VPN stopped working. Is there a way to fix this?
The new VPN icon is suppose to be accessible in the tool bar. I don't see it. How to I access it?

I have found the button to turn vpn on and off but even closing the browser after closing nor leaving it on has helped activate the service!!!

Just wanted to say that Opera browser manages to make it easy for the user to turn it on and use it. Firefox browser does not.
I wish to utilise the free VPN but am unable to initialise it.
