Hi all,

Sometimes Firefox just closes a couple dozens tabs - I keep around 200 or 300 open - without my request or confirmation. It's not frequent, but quite annoying. Clicking History > Recently closed tabs > Reopen all tabs does not restore all. I don't know where I can find references for the lost tabs or Firefox logs where I could check what happened. My only suspicion is that I inadvertently rest my hand or finger somewhere in my notebook's trackpad, and somehow Firefox understand that as a request to close several tabs at once, but I have no clue if that makes any sense. I didn't test in Safe Mode because this happens too unfrequently for me to tell if Safe Mode avoids the problem.

Could you pls help me finding the reason for that? Does Firefox keep any kind of log I can check? Are there any keboard shortcuts or mouse/trackpad action that can be set up to do this?

I am interested in using the built-in VPN. The directions say to turn on VPN in Firefox I should go to the VPN setup prompt in the top-right corner of the Firefox toolbar, or the VPN icon. There is nothing about VPN in my toolbar. I am running 153.0.1

Dozens of reboots every day due to video seizures only with Firefox. Tab crashes causes those I am ordered to support to LOSE WORK. After a tab crash and restore the FF interface is frozen -- no type of input from peripherals possible. This is all supposed to be solved by Monday. If I am out of luck with FF -- just tell me. That's very simple. New machines, new OS and it's worse than under the legacy systems we support after moving up from Win 7 Pro.

My home page with all my favorite shortcut icons is gone after doing a Firefox update/download. Instead there are shortcuts like wikipedia and others I never use. Facebook and my bank shortcuts and others are missing. How do I get them back?

www.blu-ray.com not opening. i tried all ways like uninstall, re-install but still it's not opening. but in chrome and ms edge it's working properly. i tried troubleshoot mode, clear data but still it's not working. it's happening in these few days ago

For the past few days I have been getting 'pop-ups' showing various Error messages; e.g. 'Trojan virus found'; 'Trojan Detected'; 'System alert'; 'Attention'; 'McAfee virus found'; 'McAfee license has expired'; plus others. These messages are followed by various instructions followed by "via (string of characters).natrixa.co.in. I have run my security software (Norton 360) several times and no virus or other problems have been found. These 'pop-ups' are exceedingly annoying. Any idea how to get rid of them? For some time now I have been unable to see (or post) any pictures directly in my chats on Twitter (X). I can see and they will post in the main feed but not in my DM (chats) on Twitter. I have no issues on any other website I use. When I inspect the page I get this error: "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://proxsee.pscp.tv/api/v2/loginTwitterToken. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed). Status code: (null)." If I post a picture in the main feed I can then send it to the chat and it is fine, but I can not post it directly to the chat! If someone in my chat post a picture directly to the chat then I can not see it, but if they repost it from the main feed then I can see it.

I am running Windows 11 & Firefox 154.x I have disable Badger, NoScript and ZoneAlarm (tho not all at once) I have tried installing a CORS workaround plug in (two different ones). None of these thing have helped.

Couple more pieces of information - I don't have this issue on my work laptop or my iphone app. Something on my computer is doing it - but I can't for the life me figure it out.

When trying to sign up and choosing "English", the page responded: "Select a valid choice. en is not one of the available choices." Isn't that ridiculous? Even so, you knew it's "en" after getting the choice as "English" and still refuses to let me in? I can't believe Firefox can do this! The attached image says it all!

I have Firefox 15.3.0.1 on two computers. One one, when I go to about:config, there is a search bar with an option to "Show only modified preferences." On the other computer this search bar is missing. How can I make it display on the second computer?

So, i'm trying to use VsCode and firefox in conjunction to file away some info, but for some reason, the ability to split the screen easily is gone. It is still there on my laptop with firefox, so i'm not sure why it is missing on my pc, especially since the pc is the newer version of firefox. See attached image for what i mean by easily split my screen.

Hello, I would like to suggest adding an option to open dragged links into Firefox window as new tab. At the moment it can be done through dragging link onto tab bar in between tabs, but due to small space, this can easily result in dragging link onto page tab.

Currently, when dragging link onto opened page, it will change the current page instead of opening new tab, which can result in loss of data or important information.

I think it would be safer to have this behavior as default or at least an option to set it active.
