My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. I ran all of the usual checks that you suggested with regard to extensions and cache. Here is the most recent report ID that was generated by Firefox:

Recently, numerous users have complained of a problem whereby Firefox won't download PDF documents or opens them in an empty tab with no information. It can be inconvenient, particularly if you're downloading crucial documents to access for work, school, or creative activities. One frequent culprit might be the browser's built-in PDF viewer or default file handling configurations.

Therefore, what can be done if the problem is happening to you? First, try clearing the cache in the browser or changing the default action of PDFs in settings—from "Preview in Firefox" to "Always Ask" or "Save File." Even that doesn't always completely take care of it, and sometimes the downloaded PDF will be corrupted or partially broken.

This is where a trusted tool such as the the best free PDF editor best free PDF Editor proves to be a lifesaver. If your downloaded PDF is partial or formatting seems jumbled, you can resort to the editor to tidy it up, reformatted text, delete blank pages, or merge it with an updated version. It's particularly useful when you need to fix a file fast without having to begin anew.

Have you encountered this Firefox PDF download failure yourself? What have you tried that worked—and how do you deal with corrupted or partial PDFs?

Hello everyone,

until the week before last, I was able to use the Shopify Store/ Theme Editor without any problems with Firefox on Windows (desktop). I disabled Ghostery and AdBlock, cleared the cache, am using the current version Firefox etc.

Without changing anything, I can no longer open the Theme Editor now– I keep getting the error message "there was a problem loading this page." Shopify support could not help and deferred me to Firefox.

A different browser isn't really a solution, although I can theoretically open the Theme Editor on Opera, for example.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this, and access my shopify shop theme editor again via firefox?! Thanks in advance!!

1. i believe ur updating crashes my window 11 desk top

 2. While i'm watching youtube, doing word processing (.txt) or when i set the PC to 'Sleep' mode,
my screen either freezes w the display or turns black. In both cases, my mouse and keyboard
won't work. Thus, i have to re-boot to fix. Even Control-Alternate-Delete won't work to get out
 3. Request not to keep on showing your pop-up window at top RH corner saying:
      Update Available
      Download the latest ...
     <Download> <Dismiss>
Hey, either one of those two buttons won't stop blocking my top RH corner of the screen. It's rediculous.
Even after i hit <Download>, the same pop-up shows up again n again. Same w <Dismiss>.
Just remind me once per week. And don't crash my PC!!!

4. There is no 'Community' info on this annoying update pop-up problem. Just stop it!

Pls investiate n reply via my email.

Thx
