In this version of Firefox 152 for windows I'm currently unable to remove search related to google, ebay, perplexity and bing.

Please return possibility to remove those completely!

I don't want my browser to have anything to do with those listed above. I have had it removed in previous versions. Why did you add it to browser again?! Why don't you allow to remove it anymore?!

I'd like to report an issue with a recent Firefox update.

Since one of the latest updates, the "Close all duplicate tabs" option has disappeared from the tab list menu (the menu opened via the small arrow on the right side of the tab bar). I've looked for it elsewhere in the UI and haven't been able to find it.

System info:

Firefox version: 154.0 (64-bit) Operating system: Windows 10 Professional, version 22H2 (OS build 19045.7663)

This feature is particularly important to me because I regularly keep a very large number of tabs open — often several hundred, sometimes over a thousand — and being able to close all duplicates at once was essential for managing and cleaning that up.

A couple of things make me think this may be an unintentional regression rather than a deliberate change: Mozilla's own support article on the Tab overview menu still lists "Close all duplicate tabs" as part of this exact menu, and I couldn't find any mention of its removal in the release notes for the two most recent versions (153.0.3 and 154.0). That said, I haven't found an existing bug report that matches this, so I wanted to check here first.

I'd really appreciate help with the following:

Why has this option disappeared from the tab list menu? Is this an intentional change, or a bug/regression? Has the feature simply moved somewhere else in the UI? If it's a bug, is there already a tracked report I should follow, or should I file one?

Hundreds, if not thousands, or perhaps millions, would like to see bookmarks actually work as the do with other browsers. What is the problem, you update Firefox sometimes daily, but bookmarks, never. Should I change my browser? As it says that Firefox will do that, yes every place you visit that is not what I want. I guess it's time to try Safari or Chrome? What do think? Stay stuck in past, is that your option?

Nationwide banking pop-ups do not appear on their website. I have checked with them and they are there, but I cannot see them. Nationwide seem to think it is a browser problem., but the pop-up blocker is not enabled

The autocomplete dropdowns for form fields have recently changed appearance, and I strongly prefer the previous, simple design.

The new version has:

• Clock icons next to autocomplete/history entries
• Much more vertical padding, making the list unnecessarily large
• Rounded "pill-shaped" highlighting when hovering over an entry

The previous autocomplete list was much more compact and clean, without the clock icons, excessive padding or rounded hover backgrounds.

Is there currently a setting, `about:config` preference or other supported way to restore the old autocomplete list appearance?

Ideally, I would like to use the previous style:

• No clock icons
• Compact rows with the previous amount of padding
• No rounded/pill-shaped hover effect
• Otherwise retain the existing autocomplete functionality

If there is no setting to restore the old appearance, could an option be added to allow users to choose between the old and new autocomplete UI?

I am trying to sync my computer and phone and it sends a code to my email address. but out of the 3 times I have tried I have received 2 codes but at least 20 minutes after sending so I cannot use them. I am using Thunderbird for my email

How can I stop Firefox from automatic granting sites cross-site cookie permissions (see screenshot)? The problem is that the cross-site cookie(s) granted for a site more often than not is completely unrelated to that site. This problem is very frustrating.

I have tried changing several settings in Tracking Protection but nothing has stopped Firefox from auto-granting these permissions. I have for example turned off "Fix major site issues (recommended)" but it has not changed this behavior.

can't access Mozilla.org using wi-fi work. Can't access anything using FF browser but when I use Chrome I can access anything. I uninstalled FF and still same trouble. I updated Bookmarks from desktop file from the last update.

I share my Sync account across 1 Android + 3 desktop devices (Win 10 or 11). So far no problems. A few days ago all the devices started dropping out of Sync.

I would say this all started with the Android device (v.153), which seems to have logged out of the account on its own. After reconnecting it, all the desktop devices went nuts...

1) desktop machines will need to reconnect to Mozilla account every time FF is launched 2) about:logins is always empty, even after logging back in and completing a sync routine 3) even when it states "Account disconnected" - "Sync is off", they will still receive tabs sent from the Android device; they can't send tabs as they won't see the other devices. Also, even while disconnected, they were able to add a new bookmark to the account. So, account is not actually fully disconnected... only some parts of Sync are.

Another symptom. Account's Connected Services list is clean and up to date (see images). Account recognizes new logins as already known hardware and avoids doubling them. But in Sync there's a mess of instances... all new attempts are seen as a new device. Many of these are of course dead links, as the latest login overwrites previous ones.

This happened while desktops were updating to v.154, but I wouldn't say it's related to that, as two of those machines also run a different Mozilla account on a second profile, and so far that account is not misbehaving.

The Android device also got disconnected a few more times, but now it seems more stable than its siblings, and the passwords are still accessible (as as you can see in the pics, it's not showing as a doubled Sync device).

I didn't try signing off all devices because I'm worried I won't be able to get back in... anyway, manually signing off a single one didn't change anything.

It seems to me this is a server-side issue. Is there a way to "refresh" the account without losing all data? Thank you

My start menu is multi-level and sorted. The latest Firefox (154.0) adds a NEW start menu entry for itself at the "programs" level when launched even though it is already entered at a sub-level. This is a NEW problem since earlier versions did not do this. How can I stop this since it confuses and messes up my start menu. OS - Windows 10 with current patches. Using "Classic Menu" to provide better support for multi-level menus.

Using Win 10. Desktop. Firefox is up to date. Problem happens even when all extensions disabled.

Every time I open Firefox it starts with a single blank page. This is fine, it is set to open new pages with a blank page but I also have have the [Open previous windows and tabs] ticked too and it never remembers.

Menu bar's [History] > [Restore Previous History] is greyed out.

Simultaneously, though not necessarily related, I am unable to pay for anything using my eBay balance.

before i used top tab out of my browser and my theme i downloaded for the theme section on the browser addons would stay but now every time i do it gose to a horrible blue theme instead how do i fix this to keep my normal theme when im tabbed out please and thanks i stream to i use this to keep chat open and when i tab out to game it goes horrible blue which never used to happen i dont like this and dont want it so someone please help me resolve the issue.

Sorry, I am writing using a translator. Every time I close the browser, all the tabs I haven't pinned get closed. My brother doesn't have this problem. What should I do? Is there a way to stop them from closing every time I restart the browser?

I have a problem with contrast-free Firefox. I cannot see what tab is active what is passive. I tried to get better contrast by changing the theme with those available for Firefox. I have tried at least a dozen of them, but all get the sane destiny. It might take a couple of days or a couple of weeks, it comes. I mean after a short period my applied theme disappears and I get the same standard theme.

August 24, 2026 Sometime during the last month website backgrounds changed to black. I can't see well with black. I did not install colorways. I had things setup as I liked then suddenly everything changed. How do I switch to a lighter background? My desktop background is a custom medium green. I tried enabling a light theme - no success. I've already tried the Windows settings for accessability. All help will be appreciated.
