i am unable to open a specific profile as i want its always taking me to last profile i used .I tried getting help from AI chat bots and made a short cut for a profile but at the end even its opening the last profile i opened.

I'm logged into Firefox account and have everything synced. I've logged multi-account containers (MAC) into my Firefox to try and sync accounts. However, the containers are not syncing AND I now cannot send tabs to or from this instance of Firefox.

This started either after I refreshed Firefox or after I reinstalled it, I'm not sure which. Before Refresh I definitely had full sync, and I believe containers were synced but I had not changed anything in MAC for a long time, many months maybe years.

To try and fix this, I logged out of my Firefox account for both MAC and the whole browser, then closed Firefox. I then restarted Firefox, logged into my Firefox account and tested that I could send and receive tabs - I could, so that worked. I then logged into my Firefox account with MAC and tried to send a tab, and I couldn't, and nor did the containers sync. So, it seems that the MAC addon breaks sync.

A workaround is just to not depend on containers sync, but I'd prefer to get this back.

Any suggestions on how to fix this, or is this a bug in Firefox or MAC?

The email address that was used when my Mozilla account was first set up no longer exists, I'm trying to change it but the site keeps sending the confirmation codes to the existing non-existent email address which I no longer have access to. How do I change the email address without losing any data?

Recently a tiny icon of an empty shopping cart has been superimposed at the top right-hand corner of the Firefox icon in my system tray. I want to get rid of it. In addition, just in the last few days, I'm being asked to choose among profiles when I sign onto Firefox and I want to have only one default profile and to avoid that extra step in signing on.

Greetings. Have Windows 11 Home . I have noticed in the last month that when I click on the star that Firefox is not saving my bookmarks. I have searched online for resolution to this problem to no avail. I am up to date on my version of Firefox . Could someone please provide the steps necessary to get this feature back. I have used Firefox as my primary browser for decades and the bookmark feature has always worked fine . Thank you in advance for your assistance .

Firefox is not able to log into Amazon, while Edge is OK, I know that a lot of Windows 10 updates have been installed of late plus other changes I am unable to work out whats wrong .......Help

Default homepage is yahoo. Since the update to version 149, if I do a search from yahoo, the new tab that opens with the search result is blank most of the time. I have to click reload for the search results to show up.

Is anybody else having that problem? Seems to be yahoo search specific but not 100% sure.

Firefox crashed and now my shortcuts have gone and the bookmarks are not easily accessible. I tried importing from the desktop but they are now in a long list and not as they were (in the toolbar. I can't gt the "bookmark summary" showing in the toolbar area.

Hi ich habe versucht, die einstellungen zum einem fehlgeschlagenen login mit hilfe von chaptjpt zu verbessern. habe dadurch mein konto verändert. mein password neu erstellt und wiederherstellungsschlüssel ist nich korrekt. auf dem iphone ist alles drauf aber mit dem sekundären email adresse und das password ist auch weg wie kann ich die einstellungen lesezeichen auf den firefox im rechner übertragen?

Recently (about a month) I have found I often have to login to my Firefox account in order to access saved passwords etc. Sometimes from one day to the next. It never used to do this. Can't find any setting like "trust this device" or similar to stay logged in.

after the last firefox update i am unable to access my webmail at first, but now i have lost my firefox home page that has all my saved icons/shortcuts to frequent web pages.

at the moment i am using having to use another browser to access my emails.

if i want to go through the history/bookmark tabs i can find some of my saved web pages. still cant access my webmail this way.

i am running windows 10 for the moment.

Hello, The Firefox search engine needs serious help. Your AI result doesn't even come close to Google, ChatGPT or Copilot. I often ask a question only to get an unhelpful answer and have to go to google to get a real answer. How come Firefox hasn't gotten on board with this yet? It's time!! - Nelson

I'm an 81 yr old white male. I've chosen Firefox as my browser for 2 reasons. I feel that it keeps me relatively safe, and I enjoy the stories you choose for the home page. The problem is that over the years,, many stories on the homepage require the reader to subscribe to the story's source in order to read it.

For a man my age, that's nuts.....subscribe just to read that one story.....not gonna do it. Consequently, I've had to look elsewhere that which I wish to read. I recommend that you research other periodicals that might allow reading without the required subscription.

I use a SAAS solution for my small business (FreshBooks) that has not been working well with Firefox as of late. When I reached out to their customer care department they asked me to follow their resolution steps, which included wiping the cache and cookies for all of my Firefox browser. I did so at their request, it did not fix their issue (it appears to be something their developers are working on solving) and subsequently I lost a lot of retained other sites log-in and history. Is there a way to restore the cache cookies that were removed yesterday? Appreciate your help,

This issue started a few weeks ago. Frequently, when I switch from one page to another, I get a pop-up page from some unrelated business or form. I have started to fill out an order form for a trusted business only to find out I am filling out another company's form instead. My page gets hijacked in this manner several times a day. It's not only annoying, but a security issue. One moving company keeps popping up. I am not moving, or even thinking about moving, but I keep getting this company's home page when trying to access other venues.

I don't know if this is related, but I installed Duck Duck Go a while back to avoid Google trackers. A few weeks ago I found that Duck Duck was no longer my preferred search engine and put it back as preferred. Whether coincidence or not, my problems began about that time.

When changing tags in Microsoft 365 Term Store, the changes are not showing on the respective Sharepoint sites and lists when displayed in Firefox. The tags still show the old values. Refreshing the page and deleting the cache does not solve the issue. Only uninstalling and then reinstalling Firefox resolves the issue. The problem does not occur in Microsoft Edge.
