I imported my browser data,Import browser data - bookmarks, passwords, history, extensions, and auto fill data from another browser - mistakenly. Can this action be undone?

i have no use for the 'profile' tab on the tool bar, how do i perminately remove it? i can not drag it to overflow, it drags the entire toolbar. very frustrationg. also i have no need or use for 'open in split view' in the right click menu. all both of these things do is clutter up the tool bars. please make it easier to remove these things.

When will the VPN extension be available on macOS? It seems counterintuitive to leave out a growing user base who want better privacy on Mac. I want to use Mozilla’s VPN but need website exclusion because I like to stream movies.

I have tried the new free browser VPN however it does not load pages if I am using a custom DNS (Quad9) and have DNS over HTTPS enabled. Is this expected behaviour and just a limitation of the VPN?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

My copy of Firefox updated about 1600 local time yesterday. At this same time Facebook could not be accessed, just get a blank page. Tried clearing history, but still not working. Windows 11.

My Dell Precision Laptop from 2019 runs a frequently updated Ubuntu 24.04. About one or two weeks ago, after one of the latest Firefox updates, i noticed that video streaming produces rectangular flickering in rapid sweeps. ( Also fast scrolling large text websites produces similar flickering, I think I would have noticed it before...) . If you detected it once, you see it always again... :-( First I fiddled around with the nvidia settings because the driver was also recently updated, without much success. Playing locally stored videos, e.g. with VLC media player, still works fine, so the nvidia driver is not the problem i think. Yesterday I installed Chromium and the video performance is fine! As good as with firefox some weeks ago! So it must be one of the latest updates, that causes the problem. Generally I like firefox more than chromium. I like the control you have, e.g. via Add ons.. So I hope that the firefox performance will increase again... Thank you for firefox! Florian Mengedoht

A site tells me I need to add them in permissions for the camera and speakers, but since the site does not make an "electronic" request, it does not come up with a pop-up to add it, so I need to be able to add it manually, and I can't seem to find where to do that.

Issue is actually for the extension that I had and now it's not on the extensions that I have. I tried to do a search for it but cannot find it. It's the nielsen mobile and computer extension. I've tried putting in different things (i.e. part of the name, the entire name, etc.) but to no avail. I've had it for years so I don't remember what I put in or it automatically came up when I added this device. I hope someone can tell me where to find it/what to put in the search in order to add it back to my extensions.

The Question refers to the Firefox built-in VPN being not available in enterprise environments. Background: My PC is being used strictly for private terms. System locale is German. OS is Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Firefox is version 150.0 The Windows installation is Domain joined. Firefox is being used with a domain-users windows account. When about:policies is being opened in Firefox the information is displayed "The Enterprise Policies service is inactive." The Firefox built-in VPN feature does not seem to be present in this installation of Firefox. No other VPN services are being used on that machine or in my network-environment.

no but no one has matter how much I search, I cant find a way to turn on and off firefox free VPN. Seems an awful lot of people have the same problem but no one has answers. your help page says a whole lot of nothing about a solution to this problem. Can you explain how to do this task?
