I thanks you for giving me the ability to use use firefox wihtout AI (by turning it off in the setting, you did it, love you, love you, love you), so really I can't use AI, I don't use regular trnslation that AI enable like google traduction, and chatgpt etc.., I see from my use of them start, the soft skills go very below, they really kill my soft skills I am trying to avoid them as much as possible, and thank you for giving me a choise,

I was trying to access a local HTTPS website of an embedded device (a Siemens S7-1500 PLC) that is using a self-signed certificate, but was unable to go on (attached image #1, in Italian language) due to the the SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL error. I've browsed a similar PLC webserver in the past, so the fact that the device exposes a similar certificate serial number is not so strange for me, considering also it's self-signed.

The problem is that I cannot follow the instructions of the Mozilla knowledgebase here because I'm not able to identify the correct certificate of the website!

In the attached image #2 you can see that the connection is detected as not encrypted, I suppose because only the form part of the HTML that is posting the data using HTTPS while the rest is using HTTP, but I'm not sure. If I click on the padlock icon (attached image #3) the info about the current certificate is not displayed.

Then I went into Tools > Options and searched for "certificates"; as you can see in the attached images #4 and #5, neither in the Servers tab nor in the Authorities tab I can find any item that is related to 192.168.10.2 (the webserver IP address) or Siemens (the embedded device manufacturer). But unfortunately the error persist! Initially there was a 192.168.10.2:443 line in the Servers tab and I removed it and restarted Firefox, but it didn't solve, so at the moment the situation is the one depicted by the attachments.

I had to use Microsoft Edge to access the website, but I would like to solve this issue and use Firefox instead. Is there anything else I can do to bypass the error? Why doesn't the error page provide a way to correctly identify the wrong certificate using its fingerprint and/or name? Or, maybe, is there a way to disable this check for local IP addresses or for items in a whitelist?

Starting about a week ago I can no longer access wonkette.com. The home screen shows up fine but I can't proceed any further. I'm running firefox 115.41.0esr (64-bit) on a mac running 10.13.6. “Open previous windows and tabs” is on. History is set to Remember history. I do not close tabs one by one. Ctrl+Shift+Q sometimes restored 8 tabs, but closing with the X or Close and exit only opens the homepage. Restore Previous Session is missing. The 8 sites are not in History. I cannot find sessionstore.jsonlz4. Need help using sessionstore-backups.

I live in the USA and have had access to the 50 GB free VPN for well over a month and it was working perfectly. This past week the icon disappeared from the toolbar and after upgrading to version 156 on a windows 11 PC running 25H2 it is still missing. I have looked in the customize toolbar and it is not available there as well.

9/19/2026 Firefox Version 156.0 (64-bit) for windows 11 up to date with Windows Updates. I often have 2,3,4 Firefox windows open, each with several tabs open. Sometimes, Firefox will just totally freeze, and I can't do anything more. ALL Firefox open windows and tabs freeze. Other windows/apps are fine, and working normally. Only Firefox seems to be affected. The only thing I can do is use Windows to totally close/end the Firefox application. It then closes all the Firefox windows. I can then reopen Firefox, and everything seems fine - but I have totally lost the open windows and tabs I was on.

This has happened across several Firefox updates. I do not think this happened prior to 2026. Maybe just since June 2026.

I have a new iphone 17 and the Firefox app doesn't have any of my passwords from my online account. on the iphone Mozilla firefox asks for a 6 digit authenticator code to sync my data and passwords, but the microsoft authenticator generates an 8 digit code? I've tried scanning the QR code on my desktop web mozilla firefox account but it then asks me to enter the 6 digit code from authenticator, but I'm getting an 8 digit code from microsoft autheticator. I really need to sync my passwords from Firefox web account to my iphone firefox app.

I'm trying to set up/complete two-step verification (2FA) for my account, but the Scan QR CODE isn't going through. i enter the code, but it doesn't get accepted, so i can't finish the process.
