I generally avoid the updates. I've been burned a few times too many. So, I always check to see what is actually new. This 140 has two things I like, "Unload Tabs" and "Customize Overflow".

Unfortunately, "Customize Overflow" is missing the MOST IMPORTANT tool for this process. How do you REMOVE existing items that clutter and make a mess of the few tool I actually use.

Please fix and make this a fully useful tool.

you have mager problems with with your fire fox system i have trouble with video links to chat but i don't have any problems using google chrome but it does not have the memory back like your site does i think it might be to do with your software updates i cant find any other logical reason for this problem

I updated to the newest version of firefox the day it released and everything was fine until today 7-4-25. I logged onto my pc and it would not open. Task manager doesnt even recognize it as a program. So i restarted, still did not open, i refreshed with the installer still did not open. Set as run as administrator it opens but i get a white screen with all my tabs crashed out my settings are gone in firefox and i cant open anything in the options at all below is how my firefox looks no matter what i do. I have gone into command prompt and everything did a flush i went to check to see if the launcher was enabled it is enabled in the actual config but it comes up as disabled in the support page (and thats when I can get those to open they dont open all the time) I uninstalled and reinstalled three times. and yes i did a fresh install.

Is there a way to change the zoom of the chatbot window? it doesnt change when I adjust the browser zoom. I typically have that at 80% so the chatbot looks zoomed in which is annoying.

First of all, if you really want to help people, then offer phone or at least chat support -- not bots!

Second, I just uninstalled Firefox for the second time because of problems with connectivity and installing bookmarks

The first time was a problem with the bookmarks and again I had a problem, not with installing them but installing too many -- each imported bookmark installed seven times!

Also, I was having problems loading pages.

You really think people want to spend days rummaging through FAQs to find an answer? You need to provide some good support if you want to survive.

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to log in to my bank accounts using Firefox. Each time I sign in, my bank detects a different IP address and treats it as a new device. This results in a security hold, and I’m unable to make any transactions for 48 hours.

Could you please help me understand: - Why Firefox might be showing a different IP address to websites? - Is there a setting or feature in Firefox that could be causing this (like DNS over HTTPS or proxy-related features)? - How can I configure Firefox to maintain a consistent IP or browser identity for secure sites like my bank?

When debug threejs in firefox(windows, not verified in linux), after breakpoint is hit the other web page is un-operational, you can not click the url on other webpage.

I have Firefox on my desktop and my laptop (and my phone). I just spent hours on the laptop updating new passwords, deleting duplicates and entries that were not relevant. Went from over 500 to 471 entries. Feeling good! Today I did work on the desktop and noticed the desktop password list had not sync'd to the laptop, and had 493 entries, all of which had the old/original passwords. Feeling a little suspicious about that the account had not sync'd. I had to log into and reset the password for my business email (which I had not changed the password for previously). When I updated that in the password list on my desktop, I had a moment of dread thinking that might be a problem, having updated each different computer's password list without a proper sync. Well, I went right down to my laptop and my worst fear was confirmed. All the updating I had done the prior week was overwritten by the desktop (old) password list. All of the old duplicate entries and irrelevant accounts are back.

Apparently the sync only is working in one direction??? Is there a solution to this please????

PayPal has a new verification method that involves sliding a bar.

After doing so it says I've been blocked.

I can log in using Edge (but I don't want to have to use Edge for PayPal).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Once last week I had Firefox crash, like quite literally the window I had open just closed abruptly. Tried doing the refresh using the setup wizard and it did not help. Then I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times. Each time it'll open up like new, and within 10 minutes the window closes randomly and then Firefox doesn't launch anymore on my laptop. No error message, just does not launch whether I try to from taskbar or Home or even run as administrator. Seemingly random I've been using Firefox for months and it just started doing this last week.

I had my browser set to show certain bookmarks on the main browser and different bookmarks when I activated the Secure Banking page. now they seem to be combined?

I am on FF 139.04. I have been there for Months. Suddenly, I see an icon for TAB GROUPS amongst my tabs. I am not able to find how to get rid of the seemingly automatic grouping.

1. How do I get rid of this icon appearing?

2. What does delete tab group do? That is, does it delete the group OR the group and all the tabs in it?

3. Where is documentation for how to use tab groups?

I’m encountering a strange issue with Firefox. While playing YouTube videos at very low quality (144p) just to listen to music, my GPU usage spikes to 100%. This happens even when the video is not fullscreen and there’s minimal visual content.

System Info:

   Firefox Version: 140.0.2 (64-bit)

   Operating System: Windows 11 

   CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700F (no integrated GPU)

   GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE

   GPU Driver Version: AMD Adrenalin 25.6.1 

The issue goes away when I disable hardware acceleration in Firefox settings, but I’d prefer to leave it enabled for better performance elsewhere.

Is this a known issue with AMD GPUs or is there something else I can try to reduce GPU usage during playback?

So, sometimes, when I already have a Firefox window opened, the markers just don't load, or unload. This can be easily fixed by closing the windown and reloading from history, but I was wondering if there was any way to make it load properly, or maybe reload them, so I don't have to close the window? Thanks
