If you leave more than one tab in the background while using Firefox, it may irregularly automatically shut down. This happens even if you manually change the close after n hours in the settings, and I'm currently using Samsung Galaxy. For Galaxy Tab, I've tried to lock the app, allow the background, etc. to prevent this irregular shutdown, but to no avail. How do I solve these problems?

I have a custom pitch black theme ( pls add it without addons ) which now only flashes for a second when i open the browser and returns to the normal greyish dark mode. When i go to Firefox Color addon page and load it again in saved themes it stays pitchblack even if i open another browser window until i close all the browser windows .

I'm unable to stream content on Spotify and Netflix in Firefox due to a recurring "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steps I've already taken to troubleshoot:

• Ensured "Play DRM-restricted content" is enabled in Firefox.
• Tested with a completely clean Firefox profile.
• Tried the portable version of Firefox (131.0.3) as well, but the same issue arose.
• Verified that streaming works fine on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, so I don't think it's an issue with my PC or security software (I temporarily disabled it for testing purposes).
• Made sure I'm not using any VPN or proxy.
• Performed a clean reinstall of the latest Firefox version.

System information:

• OS: Windows 11 (23H2)
• Firefox version: 132.0

When I create a new event by right-clicking on a day on the monthly calendar and then "Invite Attendees" I see in the new pop-up dialog that the organizer of the event has the illegal domain address of "@internal". The attendees receive their invitations but the .ics contains the line

ORGANIZER;PARTSTAT=NEEDS-ACTION;CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;SENT-BY="mailto:

<redacted>":mailto:<redacted>@internal

Since <redacted>@internal is an illegal email address the attendee cannot respond to the invitation either in the affirmative or negative.

How can I change the default domain of the organizer to the email address of the user creating the event? I have searched through all the settings I can find no mention of @internal there or in the documentation on the web.

I have been testing on my Win 8.1 system and Thunderbird 115.16.2 (32-bit), which is the most advanced available. The people I work with experience the same behavior with Thunderbird 128.3.0 on Win 10 and Win 11.

Hi all

I recently figured out, that the account list has changed. Instead of showing the accounts with their complete e-mail addresses and names, I now can only see a loooooong list of circles with just 2 characters.

I could not find a setting to revert back to my complete list.

The way it has changed is a complete nonsense with my many accounts and all are identical as I guess it is just taking the first 2 chars of the e-mail domain.

How can I get rid of it and again get a list of my accounts as before thx P6

Hello I have a pocket app premium subscription. I need the saves for offline use. The app does not download. If I look for help, I understand that I have to switch on "download while using wifi" in settings. But I cannot find this option in settings. I can only see this (see attached picture). Hi, I am new to actively using Thunderbird. It's been my backup in case Outlook fails (which it does with some regularity). I've been using Outlook for many years and have finally given up with all its problems (crashes, loss of data, and lastly, loss of my entire .pst file!). I may be doing something wrong in Thunderbird, but here is what is happening: 1. It prints incoming emails as pages of what looks like code and no message details. 2. It prints outgoing emails OK, but the header contains a lot of useless code. 3. I like to be able to use other fonts for things like signature etc., but can't find how to do that. So, what am I doing wrong and how do I fix it? Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Updated to the latest version of Firefox Beta today on my Tablet and have noticed that now there is support for on-screen visible "Desktop-Like" tab strips.

I want to turn this feature off because it's consuming too much vertical space. How can I disable this? I've looked everywhere within settings and even within the debug menu and about:config, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I submitted this as a bug report but I will also submit this here to see if anyone has any information or a solution.

After resetting my password, none of my sync data from before the install is there. Only the sync data from my laptop, but even on my laptop it no longer lists my old computer, it is as if my PC from before the new OS has simply been deleted from the sync logs. In fact, my sync logs only go back to the moment I changed my password. I am not sure how to proceed as it appears that there aren't even any traces of my sync from before this point.

It would be nice if I could get the old tabs I had open on my desktop before I changed my OS, but it's not exactly a "world ending" situation.

The 130 update changed my new tab to open in Firefox by default how do I put it back to open new tabs in Google.com; the same as my home page?

Debian 12 Linux on Dell laptop. Current "updated version" Firefox ESR 128.4.0esr (64bit) I received an update notice for Firefox ESR this morning. After running the Update, I lost the status bar. How can I get it back?

I've been using Thunderbird v102 for quite a while until Supernova was stabilized. I finally upgraded and Thunderbird was updated to v128. I was able to configure it to what it looked like in v102. However, when I compose an email and try to drag and drop a file (e.g. a ".pdf" file) onto the compose pane of the new email window it doesn't work. I've tried a variety of things, including saving my old profile, creating a new profile, then trying to write a new message, and finally trying to drag and drop a file for an attachment. This no longer works. I can, however, click on the "Attach" icon at the top of the write window and within a few clicks, and some searching, and a few more clicks, can attach a file.

What happened? And is this fixable? Why does all new software make it more difficult to do simple tasks that have worked for years, thinking it makes life easier by making it more difficult? Sigh...

Thunderbird Quick Filter Toolbar has suddenly started splashing a couple popups when I start typing in the filter box. These popups effectively say "... click to..." but don't actually let me click; they just block the screen.

It started doing this last week. I had this happening a couple versions ago but it went away by itself (I think).

Clearing cache won't help, not restarting it in Troubleshoot mode, etc.

Firefox is up-to-date and this was fixed a couple versions ago.

when i open firefox for the first time there is a flash on the screen and then nothing. i try again and it opens a single tab and not all the tabs when last closed
