Firefox keeps going to the Desktop for uploads even though I keep uploading from Downlods folder.

I run a blog and upload items daily, but EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it opens the Desktop folder and not the last one that was used which is the downloads. So every time I have to point it to the Download folder for the file I want to upload. How do I stop it from doing that it's really annoying.
