A certain website won't stop loading

more options

This forum website sometimes just gets stuck and doesn't want to load, and Firefox won't even throw the timeout error. This issue cannot be consistently replicated.

I tested this in another browser called Google Chrome, and the issue is not present there.

I have a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G running Android 13.

Temporary workaround: Restart the app several times until the website loads.

Hi

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?

What level of enhanced tracking protection do you have set?

Here are the add-ons I use:

  • uBlock Origin
  • Dark Reader
  • ClearURLs
  • Video Background Play Fix

I have enhanced tracking protection set to custom. Everything is enabled, cross-site cookies are isolated and tracking content is blocked in all tabs.

Hi

What happens when you try to view tha forum with those add-ons turned off and enhanced tracking protection set to the default?

Sadly, the issue persists.

I found a better workaround (still a temporary one, though): Tap the lock icon in the toolbar and then tap "Clear cookies and site data". After that, open the website again in a new tab.

Strangely enough, I don't have to log in there again.
