After nightly update on Monday, my address bar overlaps my tabs. Restarting in safe mode 'solves' the problem. Manually disabling all addons does not - so I'm not sure what other knobs and levers can be worked to fix it.

Thoughts?

I've attached screenshot of the issue, and firefox troubleshooting output.

thanks for any help!

EDIT - okay, I'm unable to upload a screenshot. Just a spinning 'wait' indicator in the "Uploaded images" space. And if I click the "Automatically add" troubleshooting information, it goes to what is essentially a 'page not found'. I've pasted the troubleshooting info into 'educated guess' field, but no idea if that'll actually come through.

It looks like the file upload wouldn't work because I hadn't confirmed my email yet.

Here's the screenshot.

You appear to have a lot of extensions and pref settings from older Firefox versions. Maybe this is a good time to try a new profile to start afresh.

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Yeah, I guess I'll need to grit my teeth and go through that process, as painful as it can be.

Thanks.

Took forever, but I found it. It was an experimental userChrome.css that I'd installed sometime last year. For whatever reason, it caused everything to go wonky just in the last two days. Removed it, all good.

Thanks again for your help!
