Since the latest upgrade, when I change a bookmark in Firefox it changes on my I.E. favorites. These were always separate. How can I stop?

My work browser is I.E. with different favorites than my personal Firefox. Now both browsers sync bookmarks / favorites, and I don't want that. This started it seems after the last Firefox upgrade. How can I stop this? Thanks.

Wow, how is that possible? Firefox and IE use completely different storage for bookmarks and favorites.

Do you use any add-ons that synchronize across browsers such as Xmarks?

No nothing special added. This seemed to start after the latest Firefox update this week. Very frustrating!

If I move a favorite in the I.E. fav toolbar, it also moves on the Firefox bookmark toolbar when I reboot. Help...

Does Firefox import Internet Explorer data when you reboot? If your Firefox data were removed, I suppose that might make sense, but it should at least ask if you want to do that.

Do you use CCleaner? If so, please change its settings so it doesn't clear any Firefox data.

No I don't know what that is sorry. As I said, this just started recently. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
