problem with firefox with groups (set as default broswer): links in email don't open new tab

I use Firefox 36.0.4 with multiple groups. Firefox is defined as my default browser. When I click on a link from within an email or different application, nothing happens. It began once I started using the groups feature. Seems that there is no "Default Group" to open.

Solution choisie

Open Windows Internet Explorer. Have it declared as the default browser. If you want, you can turn off the "check if default" option.

Now open Firefox, and have it declared as the default. Did this help?

Thanks! I tried the same with Chrome and it didn't work, didn't think of using Internet Explorer...
