Please see this support article.
I know it, but when I drag to the menu to drop, there is a stop sign (like O with slash in it ) above the icon and I have no way to drop. why?
test again today, it is working when I am using a default profile use for FEBE restoration. because of profile or add-on installed before? any ideas from your guys?
Some icons are locked in place.
Many of us are using Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).
This will restore many of the things the last upgrade took away.
all icons are locked. hit the Restore Defaults, it is not working, still not working. must I use a fresh profile? any way to restore Nosquint database?

You can check out the settings of the CTR extension via its Options/Preferences button on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" page. You can find extra toolbar buttons and more toolbar settings in Customize (3-bar Firefox menu button > Customize)
read the artical above and problem is not solved. my question here is that:
I cannot drag the add=on button and drop, it seems locked. must I create a fresh profile to solve this issue?
- Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
- LAST RESORT ! ! Reset Firefox {web link}
Make sure that toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
- Firefox menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
- View > Toolbars (press F10 to show the Menu bar)
- Right-click empty toolbar area
Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
- check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the "Restore Defaults" button to restore the default toolbar setup
