In asking for a movie on Netflix, Firefox gives me a Black screen; Safari give me the Movie. How can I fix Firefox?

By asking, I mean I click "PLAY". By Black Screen I mean totally black. No error messages any where. I'd rather use Firefox as my default browser than Safari.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Also make sure that you have the latest version of the Silverlight plugin.
