It usually contains a lot of "errors", yet everything is working well.

It is annoying to have to continually close it.

Do you have any mouse gesture extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) ?

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
