Firefox 4 fails to install any add-ons. After they are downloaded the 'installing' bar gets stuck in the beginning and never finishes.
Firefox 4 fails to install any add-ons. After they are downloaded the 'installing' bar gets stuck in the beginning and never finishes. After I updated from 3.6, FF4 sees none of my previous add-ons. When trying to install new ones I see no error dialog or message, the installing bar just doesn't go anywhere.

To anyone out there still with this issue, The fix that worked for me was to create a new user profile. Give it a try, if it works you can just move your settings and stuff over. Oli
Thank you for this olirav - I can finally ditch ff 3.6 and start using ff4 ! Feel stupid now for not trying to create a new profile myself :)
