I am trying to set a master password and I receive a message that I did not type the current password. I do not ever recall setting a password so what do I do?

If using the chrome url (chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul) doesn't work then delete key3.db and signons.sqlite and any exiting signons#.txt files from older Firefox versions in the Profile_Folder.
