When i'm opening a new tab, in the adress bar is a string shown which i have to double click to enter an URL

it always shows the following string: moz-extension://419dc7c2-3133-49ba-bc9c-13f4d28bf953/newTab.xhtml & i have to double click in it to type in something. in earlier version the adress bar was empty & ready to type.

Would you try to contact Geoff Lankow, the developer of the add-on 'New Tab Tools' about that  ? Or maybe first you could scroll down to 'About this Add-on' and see what he says there :
