Firefox won't restart when trying to apply 54.01 on both my windows computers?

I was able to get 54.01on my Macbook,. On both my windows computers, when I push the restart to update button, Firefox never restarts. When I reboot the computer, I am able to open Firefox, version 54.0, which has the restart to update button available, but every time I press it, Firefox will not restart. Have repeated this process several times with same result.

I can not advocate any software but https://alternativeto.net/software/patch-my-pc/?platform=mac download one that seems to fit for you after you have saved your profile and bookmarks and it will update Firefox and other programs that are listed, if do not want to update un-tick it on the other side. But do make a copy of your bookmarks and profile first. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
