Got different profiles setup in the profile manager for different purposes and want to start separate Firefox sessions for them, but only the first time, when I start Firefox the Profile Manager appears and allows me to select a profile

Got different profiles setup in the Profile Manager for different purposes. I start Firefox and the Profile Manager appears. I select the appropriate profile. When now starting a second session of Firefox the Profile Manager doesn't appear anymore, but instead immediately a new session with just 1 sheet with my default homepage. How do I manage, that always the Profile Manager appears when starting a new Firefox session?
