How can I downgrade back to Firefox 3.6 because 4.0 won't run on my version of OSX?

I downloaded Firefox 4.0 & installed it on my MacBook running OSX.4.11 but when I tried to run it I got an error saying it was not compatible with my version of OSX.

So if I can't open Firefox I lose all my bookmarks.... How can I downgrade to the version I was running before I upgraded & replaced all the files with version 4? I think this was 3.6 as I do upgrade regularly.

You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

When you re-install Firefox 3.6 it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

Mozilla are working to prevent Mac users with non-compatible systems from getting the notification about Firefox 4, and also not displaying the "Download Firefox 4" button on http://www.mozilla.com
