Have to re-type everything because of a formatting error in the OP

Firefox has decided to delete everything, History, Bookmarks, Plugins, Autofilled fields, Pinned tabs, EVERYTHING!

How do I recover all of this stuff? We're talking DECADES of bookmarks, none of which I can remember off the top of my head. I need help.

So, update I am writing this from my laptop, as I followed the instructions here:

Now firefox will not launch and gives me this error message. I have re-installed firefox 4 times now from an old installer I happened to have on my hard drive still, which did not fix the issue. I just used my laptop to copy a brand new installer onto a flash drive and transferred it over, which did not solve my issue
