i am trying to find out how to capture an entire web page. Appparently Edge provides such an option with a camera icon. How can i do a similar function in Firefox. Are there add-ons perhaps?

I use multiple windows with multiple tabs in each window. I am wondering if Firefox can be improved so that when I open a link in a new tab it opens in my CURRENT window (the one I'm looking at in front and the one in which I asked to add a new tab) rather than a window in the background or minimized. Firefox chooses to open new tabs in the last window in which I opened a new tab, even if they're in the background or minimized, which gets very annoying because I am constantly switching between windows to work on different topical projects. If this could be fixed I would appreciate it! Thanks.

Three weeks ago Mozilla disabled the Password Boss plug-in for Firefox. We contacted the developers about this and a few days later they submitted new code for your approval. It's been almost 3 weeks since then and NOTHING has happened! We used to use Firefox exclusively but had to move to Chrome because you disabled this plug-in (and we use it for EVERYTHING).

When will this be approved so we can install the Password Boss plug-in again? And why wasn't there ANY notification that you were going to do this? It crippled our work!

When a site sends a Web Push Notification to my browser, it flashes up at the top of the screen for 2 or 3 seconds and then is gone. Sometimes I'm busy with something else and once I see it, it's gone, or I just catch the first word or two.

How can I display the Web Push Notification again?

I'm running Firefox on Fedora Linux, if that matters.

It's a NIGHTMARE trying to read a web page! control C USED to work but they have messed with it and so it's really non functional as it only shows part of the page and HIDES a lot of it so that scrolling does not work! A real disaster now.

Google has it in for you and Duck Duck Go also, it's obvious a big war is going on and they do things to hinder. so wish you had not SOLD OUT THE MAIL. It is not better. I'd give a lot to go back to just how it used to be! No way am I doing any more updates! And I still get messages from others who say they agree with me.

They keep "updating" the internet but it is to take back the privacy we used to have. So many things don't work nice or right or even safe anymore!

Settings > Home > New Windows and Tabs > Homepage and new windows

This setting got reset on me last night. Using 127.0.2.

So, I set it to custom, add in a URL, close the settings, re-open the settings and see it is set.

I close my non-pinned tabs and then close the browser.

Upon opening the browser, I am greeted with an empty tab and the Setting has reverted to "Blank Page".

My PC uses Windowss 11 and I'm on Mozilla. My security programs are Malwarebytes Premium, Windows Defender.Security, and Acronis. There is an Extension called, 'Protect My Choices'. Love It! I have it on all my Browsers. It keeps alot of junk off from my PC. In all my other Browsers, in the Extension details it states "Automatically allow access on the following sites:" I just don't move the button over to on, and the Extension keeps all that junk off from my PC. In Firefox, the above statment and the botton is absent, and all that junk is allowed onto Firefox (Yikes!). I went through Mozilla's Help, Troubleshotting, and Search. I haven't been able to find any clue as to how I can get this Extension to work in Firefox. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Latest update (127.0.2) erased all my data. Gone are my bookmarks, passwords, sign-in shortcuts, history, etc. and I'm trying not to panic. Most of my passwords are backed up but my bookmarks are gone as is all my sign-in shortcuts, etc.

I always try to keep updated and never have had a problem with anything other than having to relearn a few new things; but this is a first for me.

I can't remember how but somewhere along the way I got a tip about how to select this context menu search option not to conduct the search with it, but for the search phrase show up in the search field, after which a search could be conducted.

How do I undo this?

Some time back, for me, both browsers would crash frequently when open at he same time. Then, it stopped, but since I don't use Chrome very often, perhaps the behavior was still the in the right circumstances.

Happened today. I was working in Firefox, and had to open Chrome, and a sort time later Firefox crashed, with a crash message. Wouldn't restart.

After several minutes, I had to go to the Task Manager, to find about 20 Firefox processes still active in the "background processes", with one of them at about 31% cpu. A short time later, Chrome crashed.

Has anyone else seen this?

The Back Button does not work at times. When I right click on the Back Button, many previous sites are shown. It would be nice if this was fixed so it works all the time.

Also, at times the Bookmarks Sidebar disappears all on its own. Why is this?

I have seen a few notifications from trading.questrade.com on my Pixel 6a running Android 14 even when I don't have a tab open for the website and I am not logged in. I do have the website in the Settings-> Site permissions -> Exceptions list, but it is very strange that notifications are shown for a website that isn't open in any tab (not in the inactive tabs either). The notification sent does seem to be related to my Questrade accounts. Would anyone have any idea how this could happen. It's a bit concerning.

As of 7/10/2024, I cannot sign in to ATT.com via Firefox. Other web browsers work correctly. The site generates a "902" error (proprietary). In the console, I see a failure to load 2 scripts:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-hdr.js”. LrrController:33:2 Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-ftr.js”.

Note that I can click that link in the console and each of those scripts loads. I have tried disabling tracking protection for the site as well as disabling the adblocker.

I have Firefox currently installed on my Windows 10 computer as a backup browser. Normally I don't run it and it isn't the default browser. However, for the past couple of days the Firefox Crash Reporter keeps popping up when I don't even have Firefox running. I can't see anything running in the Task Manager that looks as if it might be related to Firefox. Why on earth does this keep happening?

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.
