My email address is in the bookmarks toolbar and has been hacked. How do I remove it from the toolbar?

I put my email address in the bookmarks toolbar so it would be readily accessible, but my email account was hacked. I no longer use that email address. Nothing in the Firefox troubleshooting info I can find tells me how to REMOVE an item from the bookmarks toolbar, only how to rearrange items already there. I want to remove that email address from the bookmarks toolbar. Running Firefox version 3.6.16 on an iMac using OS 10.5.8.

Chosen solution

True - control + click is the Mac way to right click. I'm happy that worked.

Right click the item, choose to "Delete".

My iMac mouse doesn't have "left" and "right" click buttons, only a single mouse button. However, your suggestion led me to try "control>click" on the bad email address, and when I held down the "control" key while clicking on the bad email address, a menu came up that included "delete." I did, and it worked, so in a not-quite-direct way, your suggestion solved the problem.
