ad block download?

I contributed to Ad Block, as requested on a pop-up. It looked legitimate, but then I got an email from an unknown address saying I needed to click on "download" to install...can anyone tell me if it is safe? Don't want to import malware. The download message came from Eyeo Gmbh via Paddle. Also, I already have AdBlock so don't get why it needs to be downloaded.Thanks

That isn't part of Firefox but Addon developer support. You need to contact them from their Addon site for the right email or post to the review to get their reply back.
