Gmail credentials prompt remains blank
I would like to add my Gmail account to Thunderbird, which in principle should be straightforward (Account Settings > New Existing Account, etc.). After entering my email and password, however, the pop-up browser prompt that should connect to Gmail and ask for my credentials remains desperately empty.
I have verified that Thunderbird always allows third-party cookies (Preferences > Privacy & Security), however the problem remains.
As a side-note, I am having the exact same issue when I want to add my Google calendar (both with the Google calendar provider add-on and with CalDAV). It seems that this problem is quite recent, as I don't remember having encoutering it earlier.
For info, I am using Thudnerbird 78.10.02 om Mac OS Catalina (10.15.7)
Am I the only one who is experiencing issues like this one? Is there a good workaround?

Small update: it seems that the issue comes from the browser on Thunderbird itself. Indeed, when I search for "more add-ons" in the Add-ons manager, the opening tab is blank and loading forever...
