clips sometimes appear in the email list -see screen shot

Ocasionnaly image clips appear in the inbound email list and also in the email header. The clip often hides necessary information. I haven't found a way to eliminate the clips from the inbound address/title line. Any ideas? See example screen shot.

I've been doing a bit of a search and located a similar query with a solution. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1178430

PXFX2 says...quote : ......using Googles notoColorEmoji.ttf (https://github.com/googlei18n/noto-emoji) installed in .font folder (linux here) and having no other emoji style font files installed, notoEmoji-Regular.ttf or Symbola-emoji.tff causes this issue. installing one of the standard non-colour emoji fonts and the problem goes away, and so does your coloured emojis. TB seems to use the standard version in perference to the color version font file

Can you provide a bit more info: Select email so it shows in Message Pane click on 'More' and select 'View source' Look for the 'Subject' line Please Post an edited image showing the info in the 'Subject' line.

I'm wondering whether this is a type of emoji. What OS are you using? Linux ?

Todd-thanks so much for your follow through on this. I have marked it solved but I wish TB had a toggle/setting so I wouldn't lose my emojis. Thanks again.
