Can't see how to set search results for UK only anymore
When searching in Firefox, I used to be able to click 'Search Tools' and find options for 'Any country' or 'UK only'. This isn't there anymore so I'm having to trawl through a lot of useless stuff when I want something local. Can I get this back
Chosen solution
I think Google has stopped redirecting en-GB users automatically from .com to .co.uk for some reason. When you are on .com, you definitely don't get country-specific options.
What I suggest is installing a U.K.-directed search plugin from the following page and making that your default:
http://mycroftproject.com/google-search-plugins.html
The one entitled "Google UK - the UK (SSL)" sounds like the best match for what you want.
Does that work?
