youtube not video not playing in firefox

Hi,

When I am trying to play youtube video in my device, The video is not coming smoothly but audio coming smoothly, eventhough the video is fully loaded.

I am using firefox 20 on freescale iMx6Q SABRE Smart device, which is a ARM based processor with UBUNTU 11.04.

I have all the updated gstreamer plugins and libraries. I cannot go for Adobe Flash plugin, since it not available for ARM processor.

When I asked in freescale form, I got a reply like it is due to firefox only using software acceleration for video playback thre is not hardware acceleration. If it is becouse of that is there any method for doing hardware acceleration in firefox.

I already checked the "Use hardware acceleration when possible" option in preferences. but nothing helped me.

Please use a modern version of Firefox, like Firefox 30 or higher.

You can try to use the HTML5 media player after you have updated to the current Firefox 30 release that enables GStreamer support for H.264 in Firefox.

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 on ARM device. For this the maximum firefox update is 20.
