Thunderbird not connecting into GMail.
As of yesterday, I can no longer imap into my ISP email (provided by google). I received a popup google dialog asking me to log in, which I did, and it asked for permission to allow access for email, which I confirmed, but nothing happens and Thunderbird just grinds away without connecting. I tried a Tbird restart - no change. Tried a reboot/restart - no change. I'm a bit stumped. Possibly related but there were two successive Thunderbird updates today, which I applied but I was having the problem before applying updates and the updates didn't change the 'no connection' behavior.

Couple more details. I'm using Win10, 64bit, but version of Tbird is 32bit, v 102.9.0
Tried deleting password. Upon restarting, was asked for password, then ask to confirm google access to email, then authentication error - same as before.
