I would prefer to use a search engine that is not google, Bing or Safari since I don’t want my search to be monetized or use to create tailored display ads or prejudice the ranking of search results (e.g., paid advertisers first)

The company Mozilla that makes the Firefox web browser for desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux), mobile versions for Android and iOS does not have a search engine service of their own.

Safari is also a web browser and not a search engine.

There are lots of different search engines and one site that has many you can choose from is at https://mycroftproject.com/

One to look at is DuckDuckGo.com
