View web pages in Reader View

Reader View in Firefox for iOS strips away images, ads, videos and menus from a web page, so you can focus on reading. Reader View is available for articles, blog posts and other web pages that can be simplified.

Here's how to use it:

  1. Tap the Reader View icon reader mode icon 57 in the address bar for the page you'd like to view. (If the button is not displaying, that page is not available in Reader View.)
  2. The icon will turn blue when the page is in Reader View.
  3. To exit Reader View, tap the Reader View icon again, and the page will return to regular view.
