Firefox lets you find a specific tab when you have a lot of tabs open:

  1. Click the List all tabs tab icon 2 button at the end of the tab bar.
    step_1_tabs
Note: If Vertical Tabs are enabled, click the List all tabs Fx138VerticalListAllTabs button in the toolbar.
  2. Click Search Tabs in the tab overview menu that opens.
    step_2_tabs

You can also find specific tabs using the address bar. Type a % before or after your search term to filter the results to only open tabs.

Examples:

Results when typing % before the search term:

exmp_1_before

Results when typing % after the search term:

exmp_2_after

See the Address bar autocomplete suggestions in Firefox article for more options available in the address bar.
