Firefox for iOS lets you block links from automatically opening in other apps. If you've ever tapped a link and been redirected to an app instead of a website, this setting can help. It’s off by default, but you can easily turn it on in your settings.

Turn on external app blocking

  1. Tap the menu button in the address bar.
  2. Select Settings from the menu.
  3. Go to the General section.
  4. Look for the Browsing panel, and access it.
  5. Tap the toggle next to Block opening external apps to turn it on.

Tip: You can turn this off anytime by following the same steps.
