Did Firefox update to Firefox 15.0.1 when this happened?

What was the home page previously and to which page did it change?

You can check for problems with preferences and try to rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.

Yes, it updated to Firefox 15.0.1. I have looked at the links you sent, but still don't know what to do. Is there anyway I can get my bookmarks back???? Please direct me to the one link I should go to...Sorry, I am very upset right now.

Do you have JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder in the Firefox Profile Folder?

I ran the restore on my bookmarks, but they are GONE!!! What the heck happened?????? Why would an update to version 15.0.1 delete ALL my bookmarks??

even my IE favorites are gone. What the heck happened??? I ran a virus check and I do not have any virus or malware.

Are you still using the default profile (xxxxxxxx.default) or do you have a profile folder with a number (time stamp appended)?
