I need to install new patch for The Sims 3 Showtime, and I have a problem. When I come to the page (in my The Sims 3 launcher) of update, there appears a window saying "An error has occurred in the script of this page. Line: 959, Char:4, Error: Unable to set value of the property ´innerHTML´: object is null or undefined. Code: 0 , URL: http://www.thesims3.com/launcher/patches/-425390288 . Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?" And whether I click yes or no, nothing special happens(it says so everytime I open the page with the update). When I despite this start updating, in the end it says something like "Problem with update, invalid file found."( I have it in Czech language so i traslated it)

Here´s what´s in error:

document.getElementById("").innerHTML = '
<a class="typ_subnav" href="'+generateUrl('/gettingstarted/mypagefaq')+'">My Page FAQ</a>
';

Hi,

You can also try to patch in Safe Mode.

Problematic Extensions

Troubleshooting Extensions and Themes

Uninstalling Add-ons

Uninstalling Toolbars

Safe mode disables the installed Extensions, and themes (Appearance) in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - the manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Use hardware acceleration when available. Options > Advanced. All these settings/add-ons can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed in Firefox normal mode to check if an extension, theme or hardware acceleration is causing issues.
