On version 10.0.1, the New Tab button is missing. Have to do CTRl + T instead. How do I get the new tab button back?
After updating to version 10.0.1, the New Tab button, which sits to the right of the last tab, has disappeared. I now have to do CTRL + T instead. How do I get it back?

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.

Open Customize and see if that button is in the Customize Palette.

Thanks both. Naturally assumed the solution would be in Options, Tabs. New Tab restored!!
I had this problem as well (new tab button not showing at the end of tab bar despite restoring default settings in the 'Customize Toolbar' feature). All suggested solutions were attempted to no avail. After much troubleshooting, I discovered that if I disable my Tab Mix Plus Add-On, the new tab button will appear at the end of the tab bar.
