I can't run the upgrade at all. It will not handle Microsoft .Net, and just gives me a run time error notice. I have reinstalled version 3.6.16 untril this is sorted out. Memo...only try to istall version 4 if you have kept a copy of version 3 installer! I had to borrow it from my wife's pc; her wisdom in never upgrading seems justified!

I'd found out this am about the Microsoft NET.framework via Firefox - I do hope Fox resolve this as it's so time-consuming having to go to great lengths to download programmes. I did download the upgrade to 'Fox 4 via IE but its a nuisance having to do so that way... There are of course many other programmes one has trouble in the same way. Ive read other 'downloading problems' articles - but they are far too technical & I don't want to mess around with any of that. If Firefox is so sophisticated - there shouldnt be any issues with things like downloading programmes - it doesnt make sense...
