why can I no longer see the tool bar that shows history, bookmarks, help etc ?
I don't even remember the name of this tool bar, but it is gone. I know there are other ways to access bookmarks, but I do like to use History and Help. I know how to change from regular to private browsing. This is a problem of something simply gone missing. I must have done something but I don't know what.
Pleast help me!

Let's call it the Menu Bar (or the "classic" menu bar).
To turn different bars on and off, you can use any of several different methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:
- right-click a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
- tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > View > Toolbars
- in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
To turn on the Menu Bar, Bookmarks Toolbar, or other bars, click it on the list.

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.
There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.
