In some Greek sites that have Greek titles the words appear like ???????? , in other browsers like google chrome and explorer have no problem, and when I type something in Greek in any site like mail I don't get spelling mistakes.

  1. Do you have the Greek dictionary installed?
  2. When you right-click a text area,
    • Is "Check Spelling" enabled in the menu?
    • In the Languages submenu, is Greek selected?

If you see quotation marks instead of the character (glyph) then you may have a wrong encoding selected.

  • "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Developer > Character Encoding
  • View > Character Encoding
