Sometimes when clicking on a Live Bookmark, a transparent outline drops down instead of the normal stories - the problem is back in 28.0 (I had this problem in 19.0, 20, 21 - https://support.mozilla.org/ro/questions/948804#answer-455129 - and possible in 22 but not in the following ones until now). So once again I have to look for Firefox Extended Support Release...

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Safe Mode have the same odd problem which is back from version 19.0, 20, 21. It is a common problem as you can see here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2811677&start=1... I also tried the 29b1 version and it has the same problem but not so obvious - I mean the normal stories are back quicker after changing between the bookmark folders. This is happening in win7 x64 (in win7 x32 I do not had/have this problem). For now ESR 24.4.0 is very solid and has no problem so I will stick with it.
